Moissanite costs more because its near identical appearance to natural diamonds and intense fire when exposed to light. All CRNCY Moissanite pieces are guaranteed to pass as "Diamond" on standard diamond testers.

MOISSANITE VS. CUBIC ZIRCONIA

\We only use the highest quality stones for our moissanite jewelry and our cubic zirconia jewelry. Both options will have an intense shine, but there is a difference between them. Moissanite stones are a little higher in price because they closely resemble genuine diamonds. They will have a slightly brighter appearance and will pass as 'Diamond' on most diamond testers.
